Heat skillet to medium heat and add olive oil and garlic.
Add ground meat to skillet and cook and stir until meat is no longer pink. About 5-7 minutes.
Add steak seasoning (flavor to your liking), salt and pepper to taste, bell peppers, mushrooms, and onion to skillet.
Cover skillet with lid and let veggies cook with the meat until they are soft. About 4-5 minutes. Stir occasionally. If meat starts to dry add about 1/3 cup of water.
Top the mixture with cheese slices and cover with lid just until cheese melts. 1-2 minutes.
Serve on its own or on top of your favorite bread.
