Rags to Raches Baby Clothes Honest Review

Before I jump into my Rags to Raches honest review, I wanted to give you a little background on me.

I loved playing dress up as a kid. One year for Christmas I got plastic heels with a crown and jewelry as a gift. I was on cloud nine. I grew up in Utah so on December 25, there is usually a lot of snow outside but that didn’t stop me from dressing up and parading around my neighborhood in my new heels and accessories.

Then there was the year I got an American girl doll. I couldn’t even contain my excitement. I was so excited to dress her up in different outfits and do her hair. You better believe I got an outfit for me to match my doll! I couldn’t wait for Christmas break to be over so that I could go back to school and take her for show and tell.

Having a baby brings out my inner child. I love dressing him up in all the cute things and taking with him with me everywhere I go. If you’re a boy mom like me, you know the struggle is real when it comes to finding cute boy clothes. There are so many cute, fun things for girls but I have found it hard to find cute boy stuff.

Let’s dive into the Rags to Raches Baby Clothes Honest Review

When I found Rags to Raches I was so excited because their stuff is so cute! I’ll be totally transparent, the price tag did turn me away a little bit at first. While I was in that newborn phase where I was changing outfits constantly it didn’t seem very cost effective to pay much for baby clothes that he was going to grow out of in a week. Now that I’ve made it out of that phase, I feel different, and here’s why.

The quality is unreal.

Their clothes are made of the most buttery soft material you’ve ever felt. It’s so soft. Babies are always fun to cuddle but when he’s wearing his Rags outfits, I find myself going in for extra cuddles. The material is extremely high quality and you can feel it! I’ve washed mine several times and they still look brand new. The high quality is a big draw for me because I plan on using them for my other kids which makes it even more worth it.

They’re functional.

Are you team snaps or zippers? With these, it doesn’t matter because they don’t have either and I love it! It makes changes so easy! The other night when I went to get Taven ready for bed, I took his outfit off with one hand while I held him and walked back to his room. I definitely couldn’t do this with zippers or buttons at least not with ease.

Taven also just hit the phase where every outfit or diaper change turns into a wrestling match. It is so nice not having to try and pin him down while I get all those buttons done up just to realize I was off by one and need to start all over. Please tell me I’m not the only one that does this. I don’t know about all you mama’s, but I am willing to pay a little bit more if it makes my life easier.

They’re perfect for family pictures.

Pictures are something you keep forever. To me, this justifies spending a little more on an outfit. Okay, I know I already mentioned that they were cute but come on, have you seen the pics? He looks like a straight-up stud! The outfits are to die for! Is it just me that gets excited to dress their kids up? It makes all my childhood dreams come true. It’s so fun. In my opinion, it’s worth it to have a few pieces that you love if it’s going to bring you joy. Marie Kondo anyone? Look at it this way, how much do you spend on entertainment? For me, this is entertainment so it’s totally worth it in my book!
